The new release from Hampden Estate carries its founding year in its name. Hampden 1753 is naturally produced from the pillars that made the distillery legendary:<\/p>\n
\u2022 the use of ultra-pure water, from a spring that flows just a few kilometers from the estate, in the heart of the Cockpit Country, used to dilute molasses from the Long Pond sugar factory;<\/p>\n
\u2022 spontaneous fermentation, initiated by indigenous natural yeasts that work for very long periods, generating the esters responsible for the characteristic final aromatic charge;<\/p>\n
\u2022 distillation, which lasts approximately 7 hours, in 6 double retort copper pot stills from all corners of the world, one of which dates back to 1960;<\/p>\n
\u2022 tropical aging and finally the total absence of added sugars or colorings. This is a production method passed down through centuries, one of the most authentic in the global rum landscape;<\/p>\n
