Dedicated to grandfather Patrizio and the legacy of his passion for genuine winemaking: a farmer and uncompromising. A structured, exuberant and bold wine, but also very enveloping.
The grapes are harvested late, with substantial post-harvest drying. The pulp is crushed and pressed as soon as it arrives in the cellar in stainless steel containers under controlled temperature conditions, initiating the fermentation process.
Fermented in French and American oak barrels and tonneaux for 12/15 months. The percentage of new wood is 80%. Any possible off-flavour is filtered out and the wine is bottled where it remains for at least another 12/15 months.
Intense ruby red color. On the nose it is characterized by spices, chocolate, toasted notes and small fruits. The volume is excellent, with soft tannins supported by a fine freshness. A powerful and elegant wine at the same time
