A play on words born in 2008, first year of production: A tribute to Eligio. A celebration of his expertise in creating a complex wine, with a full, robust, bold and powerful flavor.
The harvested grapes are brought to the cellar as quickly as possible and subjected to pressing and fermentation in steel tanks.
Aged in French and American oak barrels for 12/15 months. At the end of the aging period, the contents of the barrels are reassembled into steel barrels.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color. On the nose it is characterized by spices, chocolate and toasted notes. Full and intense flavor, with great structure, soft and silky tannins, with a long aromatic persistence.
