Located on a slope with south-east exposure, this one-hectare plot of land extends over predominantly limestone soil, enriched by a harmonious balance of liming, sand and clay. It is thought that the name "Teurons" or "Theurons" derives from the Latin "Turno", which means "small land elevation", a topographical feature that is indeed typical of this place.
The Pinot Noir grapes are hand-picked in small 15 kg perforated crates to preserve the integrity of the berries. The clusters are partially destemmed, without the addition of yeast. Daily replanting
18 months in French oak barrels
Ruby red color, clear and of good intensity, with slightly garnet reflections on the rim of the glass. Intense and layered aromatic profile. Rich and ripe red and black fruits such as black cherry, raspberry and black currant stand out. Then refined floral notes of violet emerge, accompanied by earthy, undergrowth and a mineral, chalky touch. Spicy hints of liquorice and well-balanced sweet wood finish off the experience. On the palate the entry is smooth but very characterful. The drink is dense, deep and juicy, supported by vibrant acidity that provides freshness and a characteristic mineral savour on the finish. The tannins are dense, smooth and silky.
Duck with orange or oven-baked sauce, pheasant, partridge or roasted pigeon, beef fillet with porcini mushrooms. Rabbit in a casserole with aromatic herbs, stuffed faraona.
