The Extra Brut “Cuvée 1522” represents the legacy of the great Philipponnat tradition. The name recalls the year the family settled in Champagne, purchasing the first vineyards in Léon between Ay and Dizy. The Cuvée is made exclusively from a rigorous selection of grapes that come from the Maison’s finest vineyards.
Part of the wine is vinified in wood and does not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve the wine's freshness and allow it to be fully preserved.

Flavour: Our fruit with notes of fish, all the quality when combined with notes of candied fruit, almond and apricot jam.
Taste: Fresh and clean, on tasting it expresses spicy notes typical of the Ay terroir. The finish brings saline notes and a nice minerality.
