Conterno Nervi "Vigna Molsino" Gattinara DOCG 2021

Nervi is the oldest winery in Gattinara, a small town in Alto Piemonte nestled at the foot of the Alps, in a fascinating region rich in wine history. Here, on volcanic soils rich in iron, magnesium, and potassium, one of the most distinctive Nebbiolos of Piedmont is born, cultivated in a unique terroir for its climate, altitude, and geological composition. The grape variety, locally called Spanna, finds ideal conditions here to express a refined minerality, vibrant acidity, and elegant structure, which characterize Gattinara DOCG. One of the estate's most iconic crus is Vigna Molsino, a true natural amphitheater facing south, which cradles the vines like a cradle, ensuring slow and complete ripening.
