With its fruity notes and lively acidity, Rosso di Montepulciano Avignonesi is a typical example of Sangiovese di Montepulciano. The Netflix of red wines, which surprises you and makes you want more for its great drinkability.
In stainless steel vats. The alcoholic fermentation with subsequent maceration on the skins lasted a maximum of 15 days, depending on the individual batches. The malolactic fermentation took place in large Slavonian barrels.
6 months in oak barrels
Tasting notes: It has a bright ruby red color. On the nose it expresses fresh notes of violet, strawberry and raspberry, enriched with final nuances of wild mistletoe and blackcurrant. The mouthfeel is juicy and lively, with an increasing aromatic intensity. The tannin structure is fine and well-balanced, supported by a pleasant freshness and persistent returns of cherry, typical of Sangiovese. An immediate, harmonious wine ready to be enjoyed.
James Suckling 91/100
